Tinlins Wines has been a beloved part of McLaren Vale since the early 1970s, proudly offering premium wines by the bottle — and uniquely, by the litre in bulk. Our rustic cellar door is one of the few places in the region where you can bring your own container and take home quality wine at incredible value. It’s an experience that blends tradition, sustainability, and down-to-earth hospitality.

As of 1st August 2023, Tinlins Cellar Door is under the new ownership and management of Shakespeare Avenue Pty Ltd, carrying forward the legacy with fresh passion and commitment to great wine and great service.

Our wines, produced under the Randall Wine Group since 1993, are crafted in McLaren Vale to be enjoyed — from fruity favourites to our distinctively flavoured fortifieds, gently infused to offer a port-like pleasure that pairs beautifully with cheese and crackers.

What sets Tinlins apart? Affordable, honest wine served by people who genuinely care. Many of our cellar door team are family members, happy to share their knowledge (and maybe even a behind-the-scenes story or two). If you’re lucky, Tom might be around to give you the latest on vintages and how our wines are made — or you can simply enjoy the tasting and take your favourites home.

We welcome bulk purchases for both individual customers and commercial clients, and encourage eco-conscious visitors to bring their own containers for refills.
